唱誦 Long Ek Ong Kar 時,永遠、永遠、永遠都要運用頸鎖(Jallunder Bandh)。

SOUND BITES
Sometimes it helps to be reminded about some of the finer points of the science of mantra. (Or maybe we never knew?) So here's a quick review for students and teachers, old and new:
Always, always, always apply neck lock (jallunder bandh) when chanting
"long Ek Ong Kar's".
' (Pull the chin back slightly, keeping it parallel to the floor.) Of course spine must be straight.
ONG is pronounced "O" ng (as in
"so") not "au" or "aw" ng. The "ng" vibrates at the upper palate and comes out through the nose.
SAT NAM rhymes with "But Tom"
(not "hot" tom!)
To keep the energy "up" and powerful when chanting "Long Ek Ong Kar's" you need to keep the tone of the ONG at the same pitch (or higher) than that of the EK (don't drop it!). When you're chanting correctly, you'll feel the ONG resonate in the nasal cavity, and possibly experience a heaviness in the frontal lobe of the forehead. Remember, chanting is VI-BRATING. As you chant, you are stimulating the meridian points on the upper palate with your tongue in a particular sequence, thus activating the hypothalamus and changing the combination and permutation of the brain cells. The ashtang mantra, Ek Ong Kar Sat Nam Siri Wahe Guru opens all the chakras.
